UJA-Fed of NY Russian Division’s Charity Ball

On June 23, 2011, the UJA-Federation of New York Russian Division hosted their annual Charity Ball at the Prince George Ballroom in Manhattan, New York.

The UJA handed out awards to deserving recipients such as Alex Shchegol who was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award.  In addition, Toby and Ron Hersh were given the Lydia Vareljan Humanitarian Award and Rose Caiola and Edwards A. Mermelstein were presented with the Young Leadership Award.

The 2011 Charity Ball helps support the UJA-Federation of NY’s mission of “Caring for those in need, rescuing those in harm’s way, and renewing and strengthening the Jewish people in New York, in Israel, and around the world.”
