As promised, here is the marriage proposal recap of Dina and Clinton. Before Clinton got down on one knee to ask Dina to become his wife, they spent time together ice skating on Rockefeller Center’s Rink taking in the beautiful Christmas Tree and other holiday decorations. They were a couple in love with each other and New York; they were mesmerized by all that Rockefeller Center had to offer. After Dina said “Yes!”, they strolled the streets of Manhattan and saw first-hand why NYC is the best place in the world to spend the Christmas season.
On December 25, 2010 at 6pm, Clinton Ogata proposed to Dina Chong on the Ice Skating Rink at Rockefeller Center in New York City. The newly engaged couple flew into New York from Oahu, Hawaii to celebrate Christmas in the Big Apple. Clinton, a devoted Kobe Bryant fan, admitted that Dina saying “yes” was a much better feeling for him than when Kobe won Game 7 of the NBA Finals.
December is the most popular month for destination weddings in Central Park; it’s a time when the holiday season is in full swing in New York. Yesterday, on December 1, Nicola and Darren, were married at the Belvedere Castle in Central Park. Typically, the weather in December in Manhattan is dry and cold. On this day, however, the cold was not a factor, the rain and wind were the elements causing the most trouble; it was 61 degrees with pouring rain and wind gusts of 30mph.
